The McCalls are adopting!

My husband and I are in the midst of the long process of adopting. We’ve prayed, chosen an agency, applied, answered a million invasive personal questions, taken classes, learned a lot, completed the paperwork, found a lawyer, prayed some more, started preparing our home, and prayed A LOT. We are grateful for this opportunity to grow our family by loving on one of God’s kiddos (birth parents and baby alike).

So you have not received a spirit that makes you fearful slaves. Instead, you received God’s Spirit when he adopted you as his own children. Now we call him, “Abba, Father.” Romans 8:15

The promise of having a child in our home in the future is exciting. To make this all possible, one of our prayers was answered when two family members offered to give us the majority of the funding we needed to start the process (praise God)! Now that we’ve made it this far, we still need quite a bit more to ensure we can bring our baby home.
