About teamo decor

teaMo Decor is a family-owned business that my husband and I run together. I do most of the creating and making, and he does most of the sawing and sanding.

The name of our shop has a pretty unique beginning. I am bilingual-Spanish. My husband, although he understands some Spanish, is fairly monolingual-English. “Te amo” means “I love you” in Spanish, but we’ve chosen to use teamo (tee-moh) as our spanglish slang for this endearing phrase, and thought it would be a fun name for our shop. It also fit in perfectly at the time, since I was selling a lot of coffee/tea mugs. I also take pride in creating my items with lots of love and prayer, so calling our shop “I love you” was perfect.
